High school.

Welp.

I never thought I would ever come back to this page, but here I am. I'm a year 9 now, and it's different to what I expected. I never even use my locker, though I have one, because at the beginning of the day I check what subjects I have and put all those books into my bag. And as a result of this, my bad is pretty heavy most of the time, and we have to carry it around school at all times, it gets a bit annoying.

I know some people in St. Benedicts are probably saying that they are looking forward to leave St. Bens and go to high school. Hahahahhahaha- no. Just don't. St Benedicts is so much better than high-school. You have to carry all of your books around, most of the teachers are really annoying, you are in school for longer, etc. It's just all negatives. Well, the only thing that competes against high school from St Bens was trying to keep your desk tidy, ugh, disgusting.

(And for what may or may not be the last time.)

Reflection - Year and Big Day Out

Hello!
I am here to talk about one thing that stood out this year and what I think the big day out will be.
My favourite moment is the whole year. And yes, I know it sounds rubbish but I loved everything about my final year of St Bens. From hanging out with friends to camp and even to Nairnville!

As for what I think the big day out will be, I think it will be the Zoo or Zealandia. Don't ask why, it's probably just because we went there a lot of times.

My favourite day out was probably H20 Extreme because I like recreational swimming.

College.

Hello!
I am here to talk about how I am feeling about high school. Some things that I want to achieve next year is get okay grades and mainly find a group of friends to hang out with. And this is an extra step for me as I am the only boy in year 8 to go to Onslow, because everyone else is going to St. Patricks. So this is a pretty big step for me. Some things that I am looking forward to are the subjects of Music and Graphic Design. I checked out both of the rooms there in the open day and it looked very cool so I am excited for that in general. Unless it's not what it looks like or the teacher is very strict, that's the only downside. Some things that could be challenging is camp. In Onslow there is a year 9 camp on the 5th week. Some people may think this is cool but seeing as I barely even survived year 8 camp and I actually had time to settle in. Year 9 camp will be a challenge.

Reflection - Book that I read as a child.

Hello!
I am here to talk about a book I read as a child, and I chose "We're going on a bear hunt."
I loved this book when I was a kid though my sister was scared about the part at the end with the bear entering the house.
When I read this, I don't exactly know how old I was, but I was around 4 I'm guessing. I'm honestly not sure why I liked this book, I just did?

Reflection - AFL

Hello!
So last week I missed AFL and that is why this post is late,  but anyway, AFL was pretty good. For skills and tips, I never knew that you didn't grip fully when doing a handball. And a catchphrase I remember is laces away from faces.
Some things I learnt about AFL are:
- AFL fields are larger then rugby fields.
- AFL is one of the most attended sports in the world.
